spontaneous monday musings

fashion needed a bit of an electric shock, no? jil sanders spring feels so on point. strong lines and bright colours, no complications. it seems very far out of our wardrobes comfort zones based on past seasons, but its a fantastically strong look. i started this week with orangy red nails... baby steps!

more from paris' nuit blanche. also mentioned here. melissa and i watched this structure being built for a week before the event. for a while we thought it was for fashion week, but then realized it was an art installation. this piece synchronized light and sound to create an creative experience for those who walked though it. at the end there was an explosion of light and sound that made it feel like a fuse blew, thats what i got on camera in the second image.
